If I ever were to my 1959 Lincoln Capri to run this is exactly what I would want to do with it. Chop the top off and turn it into a 4 door convertible. This guy stole my idea and he is now selling the car for $4,500 bucks. I want it.

I do hate the paint job though.

I like the paint job better than chopping off the roof of a perfectly good car

If this car was pristine before he did it than that is a damn shame. If it were in really poor condition I don’t think it would be quite as bad.

Poor condition can still be brought back to a decent car over time

I totally agree. But why not personalize something?

You can personalize in ways that don’t involve chopping off the roof

Very true. Maybe some classy cursive initials on the door

No need to whack the roof off, but even a 4 door can be made into a sweet mild/full custom. Plus the 59 Lincoln has some nice lines for a wild 60s panel paint job

I do love the two tone paint that is currently on the 59

Nah wild Watson style panel paint with lace and pearls, candy colors or fades
